(Worthy News) - A woman in eastern Uganda who put her faith in Christ is in hiding after her husband beat her for leaving Islam, sources said.

Sophia Nakisaala, 35, turned to Christ on Aug. 7 after her daughter was healed when a street preacher she’d heard in Bulopa village, Kamuli District, prayed for her. Kamuli is 143 kilometers (88 miles) northeast of Kampala, the capital.

Nakisaala was on her way to Kamuli General Hospital with her ill 5-year-old daughter when she stopped to listen to the evangelist from an area church (undisclosed for security reasons). She later met with the street preacher, who prayed for her daughter.

“My child got healed instantly from high fever, which had caused several convulsions,” Nakisaala told Morning Star News by phone. “The evangelist shared with me about Issa [Jesus], whom he said to be the healer and Savior. I then decided to accept Him as my Lord and Savior and then returned back home.” [ Source (Read More...) ]

  1. Or, in the USA, where the Diagnostic Manual of Psychology (the DSM V) labels "hearing from God" a symptom of psychosis (never mind that Jesus tells people how much God love them) you get to become enslaved to Psychiatry and lifelong medications to drown out (or burn out) all logical thought.

Same same, in the Phillipines you can be beat daily by your Catholic grandmother for accepting Christ. In Israel (or Europe, or the USA, again) you get to be declared "dead" and lose all your friends and relatives, if you accept Y'shua (Jesus) when you are Jewish.

Real Christians get persecuted. Real Christians get persecuted for doing right and being right. Make sure it's for righteousness sake you get discriminated again and/or persecuted, not for being wrong. Being persecuted for wrong stuff (like defending crosses atop some building) doesn't count for anything but foolishness and dead works.

God will reward her for staying with Jesus. Placing our trust in Him, and His Word come in the flesh (Y'shua) has to be real loyalty, not this mere one time going forward at some Christian concert or Billy Graham crusade. Don't even look for a Church after you get "saved" find real believers and meet with them regularly, if at all possible. The "churches" belong to Catholicism, most just don't know it yet.

  2. It's unfortunate such percsecution on Jesus' Believers but still hope in the Lord, and encourang all Ministers to pray for our fellow Brothers and Sisters around the world to focus on Jesus Christ who' s true and faithful rewarder accordingly.
    Otherwise it's sad news!!
