(Worthy News) - At least seven Christian worshippers were injured in an armed attack by local Muslims on a church service on Sunday (March 18) in southern Punjab Province, Pakistan, the church pastor told Morning Star News.

Pastor Haleem Feroze Masih of the King Jesus Church in Burewala, 155 miles (251 kilometers) southwest of Lahore, said he was leading the service when at least 15 local Muslims led by Muhammad Sharif entered the church compound around 1 p.m. and attacked the congregation.

The attack was preceded by a clash outside the church building. [ Source: Morningstar News (Read More...) ]

  1. Maybe they shouldn't have been "in church" but meeting without using that abominable name (church) on the Shabbat or any other day so that their enemies no longer have a blueprint of when and how to attack them?

They should try doing Christ-following biblically. They should try using biblical terms, days, meeting places. Look it up. Don't any of that groups members have a bible-software program? Check out all the words given originally that now have been translated as "church" in their Bibles. Have a look at those verses where God said, "Oops, I changed what I said I'd never change, the Sabbath is now in Sunday."

Oh yeah, it's not in the bible. Because He never said that! In fact, Paul taught that the day wasn't such a big deal. If it isn't, then try "coming together" some other time than on Catholic "holy days of observation" and Sundays.

    Just a thought.
